Job summary

Snohomish County is hiring a temporary full-time Infant Toddler Specialist in the Early Head Start Program within the Developmental Disabilities and Early Learning Division, Everett, WA. Qualifications

• Requires an Associates, Bachelors, or advanced degree in early childhood education or related field; coursework equivalent to A.A. in ECE and two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with infants/toddlers and parents.
• Visit parents weekly to support home learning.
• Plan and participate in home visits to meet needs of child and family.
• Organize monthly parent/child socialization experiences.
• Ensure safe, clean indoor/outdoor play areas and activities.
• Use curriculum to align with child routines and interests.
• Meet physical, health, nutrition and developmental needs of children.
• Collaborate with parents to extend home socialization.
• Follow confidentiality policies and program guidelines.
