Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) or higher in Early Childhood Education.
• CDA Credential with AA in Child Development.
• 3 units in Infant/Toddler development.
• Experience teaching early childhood is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); Head Start knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement infant/toddler activities aligned to curriculum.
• Use ECERS and other tools to assess classroom quality.
• Maintain safe, organized classroom and conduct monthly drills.
• Observe and document child progress in portfolios for each child.
• Communicate with families about child development and progress.
• Collaborate with Center-Based Manager and staff to balance activities.
