Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Baltimore, MD.

You will assess child development, set goals, and provide coaching for inclusive education while ensuring safety and well-being; you will document progress and collaborate with leadership to deliver high-quality early education services.

Qualifications

• Plan individualized curriculum to meet child goals.
• Support inclusion of children with special needs.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Document growth using observations and samples.
• Assist with leadership communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses development and sets goals for each child.
• Coaches inclusion of children with special needs.
• Works with infants and toddlers independently.
• Oversees health, safety, and well-being of center children.
• Adheres to safe sleep and safety protocols.
• Documents growth in records and databases.
• Reports to Child Development Specialist or Lead Teacher.
