Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses development of children and sets goals for their development, plans individualized curriculum to help children meet goals
• Assists with providing coaching and guidance to ensure the successful inclusion of children with special needs in regular classroom activities
• Exhibits an ability to work independently and effectively with all infant and toddler age groups
• Oversees the health, safety, and well-being of all center-based children
• Adheres to safe sleep, health, and safety protocols
• Documents children's growth and development using written observations, photography, work samples, and assessment tools in hard copy and online database systems
• Reports directly to the Child Development Specialist, Lead Teacher and/or a member of the leadership team concerning the Child Development Programming and other job responsibilities
