Job summary

Ironton-Lawrence County Community Action Organization (ILCAO) seeks an Early Head Start Center-Based Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers (0–3). You will align with program goals and perform classroom operations, supervision, and accurate recordkeeping.

The role requires an Associate's Degree (Bachelor's or Master’s preferred) in Early Childhood Education or related field, plus experience with young children and strong data/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Education required or preferred in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience with children under 5 years old.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with data reporting systems.
• Ability to conduct home visits and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, educational environment for infants and toddlers (0–3).
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for school readiness.
• Maintain classroom management, recordkeeping, and active supervision of children.
