Job summary

Bauer Family Resources in Indiana is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to provide learning experiences for children from 6 weeks to 3 years, developing individualized lesson plans and building strong relationships with families to promote school readiness. The role requires creating safe, engaging environments, observing and assessing progress, and collaborating with families.

Must have CDA or related degree, valid Indiana driver's license, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong

Qualifications

• CDA Certificate OR an associate, bachelor, or advanced degree in a non-related ECE field with training in infant-toddler development
• Must maintain a valid Indiana driver's license and meet the requirements of the insurance carrier at all times.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Observe, document, and assess student progress
• Analyze student data
• Develop and implement lesson plans based on student data, interests, and developmental practices
• Engage families in program services and activities that promote parenting skills, knowledge, and confidence
• Conduct Family Conferences and Home Visits
• Maintain clean, safe, and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
• Complete monthly reports and Family Newsletters
• Ensure compliance with Bauer Policies, State Licensing, and Head Start Program Performance Standards
• Attend twice-monthly staff meetings, monthly Professional Development Days, quarterly All-Agency meetings, and Annual Pre-Service meetings
