Job summary

Bauer Family Resources is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to provide learning experiences for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years, focusing on school readiness and individualized lesson planning. You will build meaningful relationships with children and families and create safe, engaging environments.

The role requires CDA or related degree, 1–2 years of experience preferred, and a commitment to serving families in poverty.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of child development and health and safety standards.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Organization and time management.
• Willingness to learn and apply new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Observe, document, and assess student progress.
• Analyze student data to inform instruction.
• Develop and implement lesson plans based on data and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Engage families in program services and activities that promote parenting skills and confidence.
• Conduct Family Conferences and Home Visits.
• Maintain clean, safe, and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Complete monthly reports and Family Newsletters.
• Ensure compliance with Bauer policies, state licensing, and Head Start standards.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development days.
