Job summary

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation seeks an Early Head Start Teacher to join the Head Start Birth-5 program in Indiana. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and delivering education services for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years, in collaboration with a Co-Teacher and Classroom Aide.

You will implement research-based curricula, complete required screenings, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and program standards as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

CDA credential or comparable credential required.
On-the-job training to obtain credentials may be provided by LHDC if needed.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and implement education services for Early Head Start infants and toddlers.
Collaborate with a Co-Teacher and Classroom Aide to prepare and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Conduct developmental, behavioral, and sensory screenings within required timeframes.
Adhere to Head Start Birth-5 standards, Indiana Day Care Licensing Regulations, CACFP guidelines, and LHDC procedures.
