Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Child Development Specialist to support infants, toddlers and their families in home-based early intervention across California.

The role offers flexible scheduling and the ability to create your own availability, with compensation based on experience at $45-$55 per hour. Responsibilities include developmental assessments, implementing the Parent Coaching Model, aligning with IFSPs, conducting progress reports, and delivering services in the family’s

Qualifications

Master’s degree (preferred/required) in child development, early childhood, teaching or related field OR a special education credential.

Responsibilities

Conduct developmental assessments and provide child development services using the Parent Coaching Model.
Follow each child’s IFSP and help families develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
Provide services in the child’s natural environment—homes, daycare, or community settings.
Prepare re-assessments and progress reports bi-annually.
Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
