Job summary

Catholic Charities West Virginia is seeking an Infant/Toddler Specialist to conduct research, provide coaching and technical assistance to administrators and caregivers, and promote breastfeeding-friendly childcare designations in our Region 1 network.

You will work with CCR&R and TRAILS teams, deliver staff training, and support licensing and quality improvement initiatives, traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in early childhood, developmental psychology, educational psychology, or child development; coaching/training background.
• Certification for the Program for Infant/Toddler Care; Infant/Toddler Mental Health Endorsement for Category I or II.
• Three years of work experience as an Infant/Toddler Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Participate on the CCR&R professional development team and implement team responsibilities.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance as outlined in policy manuals.
• Assist providers with health and safety, diapering, handwashing, and safe sleep topics.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Travel extensively

Education

Master’s degree in early childhood/related field

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood/related field
