The Family Tree, Inc. is seeking an Infant Toddler Specialist (Coach & Trainer) to provide field-based coaching, consultation, and professional development to licensed child care programs serving birth to age three in Baltimore City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, education, special education, child development, or a closely related field.
• Completion of a 3-credit (45 clock hour) course in Child Development
• Completion of a 3-credit (45 clock hour) course on Curriculum/Methods and Materials for Infant/Toddler.
• Experience delivering training and professional development to early childhood educators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching and technical assistance to licensed child care programs serving infants and toddlers.
• Conduct on-site and virtual coaching visits and reflections to support quality improvement.
• Support programs in strengthening responsive caregiving, social-emotional development, and learning environments.
• Guide providers in Maryland EXCELS participation, accreditation, licensing compliance, and quality initiatives.
• Develop Quality Improvement Plans and professional development goals with participating programs.
• Facilitate professional development workshops and Communities of Practice.
• Maintain documentation of coaching activities and program progress.
