Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition seeks an Infant/Toddler Instructional Assistant to support teaching staff in infant/toddler classrooms in accordance with grant standards and licensing regulations.

The role involves assisting with daily routines, supervising children, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while contributing to developmentally appropriate activities across play, story time, and centers.

Qualifications

• Infant/toddler care and classroom support including diapering, toileting, dressing, meals, and transitions.
• Assist with daily routines and learning centers to promote development.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of classrooms, toys, furniture, and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supervise infants and toddlers in classrooms and on playgrounds with positive guidance.
• Provide coverage to maintain child-to-teacher ratios during staff breaks or absences.
• Assist with dual language instruction, as applicable.
