EightCAP, Inc. seeks an Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant to support the LITE in creating a safe, organized learning environment for children and families. You will help implement curriculum, monitor progress, and communicate with families to promote parental involvement in education.

The role requires an associate degree in early childhood education or related field, or an Infant/Toddler CDA, with 12 semester hours in ECE. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in ECE or CDA with 12 sem hrs in ECE/child development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families and partners.
• Must pass state and federal background clearances.
• Knowledge of Head Start and CACFP regulations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor a safe, healthy, organized classroom environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with families.
• Follow Head Start, LARA, and CACFP regulations.
• Maintain attendance, CACFP docs, and plan home visits.
• Communicate positively with children, families and staff.
• Collaborate with staff and community partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and respond appropriately.
• Participate in professional development to ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
