Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
2. Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
3. Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
4. Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
5. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
6. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
7. Support your center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
8. Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications:

1. At least six months of professional teaching experience is required; one year preferred.
2. High school diploma/GED is required; an associate degree or higher in ECE or related field is preferred.
3. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
4. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
5. Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
