The Learning Experience in Riverton, NJ is seeking a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join their team. This role offers a chance to make a lasting impact during the most formative stage of a child’s development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA/AS/BA in ECE preferred.
• Experience working with infants in licensed childcare or early education setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Able to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants in a safe classroom.
• Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to support infant growth.
• Monitor and track developmental milestones for each child.
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding progress.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols including diapering, feeding, sleep routines.
• Collaborate with teachers and center staff for a cohesive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate daily records for each infant.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment


• Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to support infant growth and development


• Monitor and track developmental milestones for each child in your care


• Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding daily progress


• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols including diapering, feeding, and sleep routines


• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment


• Maintain accurate daily records and reports for each infant

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred


• Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early education setting


• Strong knowledge of infant developmental stages and best practices


• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)


• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 35 lbs


• Warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with babies


• Must meet state licensing background check requirements
