Job summary

The Learning Experience - Ramsey, NJ is hiring an Infant Teacher to join our early childhood team. The position offers a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule and pays $17 per hour.

You will provide attentive infant care, support feeding and routines, and engage babies in age-appropriate activities to promote development while maintaining a clean, safe classroom and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Infant, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with feeding, diapering, and individualized infant routines.
• Patient, nurturing, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants throughout the day.
• Support feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized daily routines.
• Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory, movement, and early learning experiences.
• Encourage early language, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.

• Build trusting relationships and communicate positively with families.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Our Infant Teachers create a warm, responsive environment where babies feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. Through consistent routines, sensory experiences, movement, and meaningful interactions, you'll help our youngest learners reach important early developmental milestones.
