Job summary

The Learning Experience – Manassas City, VA is seeking a caring Lead Infant Teacher to guide daily routines in our infant classroom, nurturing secure relationships and early communication through consistent care and sensory exploration.

You will lead routines for ages 6 weeks to 12 months, provide feeding, diapering and nap supervision, and partner with families while upholding Virginia licensing requirements. A high school diploma and prior childcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior childcare experience required.
• Infant classroom experience preferred.
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
• Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision.
• Implement age-appropriate sensory learning activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Support assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency; communicate regularly with families about routines and milestones.

Location: The Learning Experience – Manassas City, VA

Pay: $18–$20 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
