Job summary

Peachtree Academy is seeking an infant teacher to help build amazing little brains in a state-of-the-art private Christian school in Georgia. You will create a warm, loving classroom and plan developmentally appropriate activities that promote language, brain development, and social skills.

The role emphasizes nurturing care, strong communication with families, and collaboration with staff. Prior experience in early childhood education is preferred, and credentials are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, loving, and engaging classroom environment.
• Plan fun, developmentally appropriate activities (music, literacy, language, sensory, outdoor play, gross motor, social-emotional learning).
• Support growth in language and brain development and social skills.
• Partner with families to celebrate milestones and successes.
• Create weekly lesson plans to stimulate brain development.
• Talk to children to stimulate language development.
• Follow all state rules and regulations and maintain strong staff relationships.

Infant Teacher – Help Build Amazing Little Brains!

Warning: This job may include baby giggles, first words, spontaneous dance parties, and becoming someone's favorite person.

You won't just be singing and playing with the babies—you'll be building their brains and changing futures. We're looking for a nurturing, energetic, and enthusiastic teacher who loves helping little ones grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Every cuddle, conversation, song, story, and smile helps shape a child's development.

What You'll Do

• Create a warm, loving, and engaging classroom environment
• Plan fun and developmentally appropriate activities that include: Music and movement, Story time and early literacy, Language development, Sensory exploration, Outdoor play, Gross motor activities, Social-emotional learning
• Sing songs you never imagined you'd know by heart
• Support incredible growth in language, brain development, and social skills
• Partner with families to celebrate milestones and successes
• Create weekly lesson plans that encourage brain development and stimulating activities
• Singing songs and teaching rhymes
• Talking to children throughout the day to stimulate language development
• Rock children to sleep and nurture them
• Feeding children and practicing self help skills
• Follow all state rules and regulations
• Maintain great relationships with other staff
• Take direction well from the administrative team
• Learn the rules and regulations from Bright from the Start

About Peachtree Prep, Our Early Childhood Division

The early childhood division of the school bases its academic program on a weekly unit of study for academic advancement. Teachers use lesson plans to guide the delivery of information and address individual issues of advanced skill levels or areas of improvement that are needed. Parents may supplement the curriculum by bringing in books, materials, or ideas related to the theme for the benefit of the class.
