Job summary

The Goddard School Doylestown is seeking an Infant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging activities, manage the classroom, and maintain a safe, stimulating environment.

You will collaborate with a warm, nurturing team to care for infants, implement age-appropriate lessons, communicate with families, and adhere to health and licensing standards. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Create a warm, nurturing, and responsive environment for infants.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean learning space.
• Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and routines.
• Communicate with families about child progress and activities.
• Adhere to health, safety guidelines and licensing standards.
