Job summary

This Little Light Christian Preschool and Childcare, LLC. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a caring, part-time infant room assistant to care for babies 6 weeks through 18 months in a faith-based, family-centered setting.

You will observe and monitor play, communicate with parents about daily activities, and support each child's emotional, physical, spiritual, and social development. Flexible weekday afternoons are needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dress children and change diapers, assist and facilitate naptimes.
• Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and meals/medications.
• Organize and store toys and materials to keep areas orderly.
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas and breast milk.
• Comfortable sitting, playing, and interacting with children on the floor.

We are seeking a part time infant room employee to care for babies ages 6 weeks-18 months. Our need is currently week day afternoons.

What You'll Do

• Observe and monitor children's play activities.
• Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.
• Support children's emotional, physical, spiritual, and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Dress children and change diapers, assist and facilitate naptimes
• Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
• Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas and breast milk.
• Comfortable sitting, playing, and interacting with children on the floor at times.

Requirements

• Physically able to carry children when needed
• This is a tobacco-free and smoke-free workplace, including vaping/nicotine use during work hours, must be able to comply with this policy
