Job summary

Boulder YMCA in Boulder, CO is seeking an Infant Nursery Supervisor to provide direction for the program and classroom, implement curriculum, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

You will supervise infants 6 weeks to 18 months, assist in leading Assistant Teachers, conduct child observations, and maintain accurate records and parent communications. This role emphasizes YMCA values in a day shift environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field meeting ECT qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year experience supervising infants 6 weeks to 18 months.
• Must meet CDHS ECT qualifications.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and embrace YMCA mission.

Responsibilities

• Implements curriculum within established guidelines.
• Designs and implements daily lesson/activity plans.
• Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities.
• Supports in supervision and direction of Assistant Teachers.
• Makes ongoing observations and evaluations of each child.
• Ensures program follows YMCA, CDHS, and Health department expectations.
• Conducts parent conferences and maintains relationships with parents.
• Maintains program site and equipment; records and medications.
• Attends family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and training.
• Other duties as assigned.
