Job summary

A Nanny Match is seeking a devoted nanny for an infant on the Lower East Side, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm. The role combines childcare with family assistant duties, including light errands and occasional travel to the Hamptons.

The ideal candidate is calm, punctual, and proactive, able to support developmental milestones while maintaining a warm, collaborative approach with the family. Responsibilities include feeding, naps, tummy time, walks, play, and light meals for the child, plus keeping

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants and supporting developmental milestones.
• Ability to manage feeding, diaper changes, and daily baby needs.
• Track feeding and sleep; communicate updates to parents.
• Comfort with light household tasks and errands.
• Willingness to travel with family to the Hamptons when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive infant care, including bottle preparation, feedings, diaper changes, and maintaining baby supplies.
• Support consistent feeding and nap routines.
• Encourage milestones with tummy time, reading, music, and age-appropriate activities.
• Take the baby on walks and arrange playdates/outings.
• Prepare age-appropriate meals as solids are introduced.
• Manage baby laundry and keep childcare areas clean and organized.
• Track feeding and sleep in the app and communicate updates to parents.
• Assist with light household tasks like meal prep, packaging, and grocery shopping.
• Respect family time and focus on stated responsibilities.
