Job summary

Brooklyn family is seeking a caring, reliable nanny/housekeeper to care for their 4-month-old baby and assist with light household tasks. The role is part-time, 2-3 days per week from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexible days.

The ideal candidate is affectionate, organized, and able to follow routines while keeping the home safe and tidy. Responsibilities include infant care during awake times, feeding, diapering, naps, plus laundry, meal prep, and light cleaning.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants strongly preferred.
• Comfortable caring for a 4-month-old baby.
• Responsible, patient, nurturing, and dependable.
• Experience with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Ability to prepare simple meals and assist with dinner preparation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to balance childcare responsibilities with household tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Ability to follow parental instructions and established routines.
• Infant CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Infant care for a 4-month-old baby, including feeding, diapering, and daily activities.
• Engage the baby in age-appropriate play and developmental activities.
• Follow feeding and nap schedules; ensure safety and well-being.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the baby.
• Communicate with parents about the baby's daily activities and needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry while the baby naps.
• Assist with dinner preparation and basic meal planning.
• Keep common areas neat and organized.
• Help maintain an orderly and comfortable home environment.
• Assist with additional household tasks as discussed with the family.
