Job summary

British American Household Staffing is seeking an experienced Full-Time Nanny in downtown Manhattan to care for a 6-month-old infant. The role emphasizes long-term partnership, developmentally appropriate activities, and a loving, proactive approach.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with 50–55 hours weekly and occasional evenings or weekends with notice. Travel with the family is required, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience caring for infants.
• Infant CPR and First Aid certification required or willing to obtain prior to start.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally with the family.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with parents and flexibility with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for an infant and establish developmentally appropriate routines.
• Plan age-appropriate activities supporting physical, cognitive, social, and language development.
• Maintain a safe, screen-free environment and manage feeding, naps, and daily transitions.
• Travel with the family as needed and assist with light household tasks related to the child.
