Job summary

A Nanny Match is seeking a full-time live-out nanny/ family assistant for an infant on the Lower East Side, Manhattan. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm. The role blends childcare with light household tasks while supporting travel needs, including summer stays in the Hamptons.

The ideal candidate is calm, punctual, organized, and proactive, with a focus on infant development and collaboration with parents. Housekeeping and errands are also part of duties.

Qualifications

• Infant care experience and comfort with a 5-month-old.
• Ability to follow parents’ routines and provide developmental activities.
• Experience with light household tasks and errands while caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive infant care: bottle prep, feedings, diaper changes, and maintaining baby supplies.
• Support feeding and nap routines consistently.
• Encourage milestones through tummy time, reading, music, and age-appropriate activities.
• Take the baby on walks and arrange playdates/outings.
• Prepare age-appropriate meals as solids are introduced.
• Manage baby laundry and keep bottles, toys, and areas clean.
• Track feeding/sleep in app and share updates daily.
• Family assistant tasks: light meal prep, packaging, dishwasher, trash, groceries, dry-cleaning.
• Respect family time and balance responsibilities.
