Job summary

BrightPath Kids Dover is seeking an Infant Lead Teacher to provide a caring, developmentally appropriate program for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in a nurturing classroom that follows NAEYC guidelines.

You will collaborate with families and fellow teachers to design meaningful activities, monitor safety, and communicate progress while supporting children’s growth and learning in a warm, organized setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused, with strong communication to families and staff.
• Ability to multitask across activities and classrooms.
• Compliance with state childcare employment criteria and safety standards.
• Education options include CDA, TECE, PP-ECE, or higher in ECE. Note: 12 months of related experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children in assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean environment supporting growth and exploration.
• Collaborate with families to plan for each child's care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.
