Job summary

Ivy Kids is seeking an infant lead teacher to plan and implement the daily curriculum, supervise assistants, and coordinate personal care and activities in the classroom. You will also keep records on each child’s development and communicate updates to families through the parent app.

Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety procedures, following state standards, and providing ongoing training and support to staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; must repeatedly lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with children and parents.
• The lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the Ivy Kids curriculum activities.
• Keeps accurate and current records of each child’s developmental milestones, accidents, anecdotes, and attendance.
• Ensures ASQs are conducted on time.
• Follows Ivy Kids Critical Procedures and state standards.
• Provides daily communication to parents via parent app.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Trains new staff and familiarizes them with procedures.
