Job summary

Ivy Kids - Roswell West is seeking an infant lead teacher to plan and implement the daily curriculum for infants, supervise assistant teachers, and coordinate care and learning activities. You will communicate with families and report to the director on timely issues affecting staff and programs.

The role requires adherence to brand and state standards, ongoing training, and participation in staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; must repeatedly lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with children and parents.
• The lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Understands and complies with all Ivy Kids Brand standards & State Standards.
• Plans and implements the Ivy Kids curriculum activities.
• Keeps accurate and current records of each child’s developmental milestones, student accidents, anecdotal records, and attendance.
• Ensure ASQs are conducted on time.
• Has knowledge of state standards and ability to follow Ivy Kids Critical Procedures.
• Provides daily communication to parents via parent app.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Assists in training new staff and familiarizing them with program practices, forms, and schedules.
• Observes, records, and reports to the director any significant behavior that could affect quality of care.
