Job summary

Ivy Kids in Mission, KS is seeking an infant lead teacher to plan and implement daily curricula for your classroom. You will oversee personal care, learning activities, and coordinate assistant teachers while keeping the director informed on staff, children, families, and program matters.

You will follow Ivy Kids standards and state requirements, communicate with parents daily, and participate in staff trainings to ensure high-quality care and education for infants.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Effective interaction and communication with children and parents.
• Lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the Ivy Kids curriculum activities.
• Keeps accurate records of each child’s developmental milestones, incidents and attendance.
• Ensures ASQs are conducted on time.
• Provides daily communication to parents via the parent app.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Complies with Ivy Kids Brand standards and state standards.
