Job summary

LifeWorks seeks compassionate professionals to provide in-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers in California. You will coach families, implement IFSP goals, and support caregivers to translate progress into daily routines.

The role emphasizes family-centered practice, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, documentation, HIPAA compliance, and ongoing professional development within LifeWorks' supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or credential as above.
  • Experience with infants/toddlers with special needs preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with documentation and software systems.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Conduct developmental assessments using DAYC-2.
  • Implement IFSP goals with family-centered coaching.
  • Support caregivers with practical strategies for home routines.
  • Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and community settings.
  • Complete bi-annual progress reports and required documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct developmental assessments using the DAYC-2
  • Implement IFSP goals using a family-centered, parent coaching approach
  • Support caregivers in building confidence and practical strategies
  • Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and community settings
  • Complete bi-annual progress reports and required documentation
  • Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and ethical standards in all interactions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Teaching, or related field OR Special Education teaching credential
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers with special needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Familiarity with documentation and relevant software systems
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move therapy materials/equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and actively engage with young children for extended periods
