Job summary

The Learning Experience – Riverton is seeking a warm, nurturing Childcare Teacher for our Infant Classroom to help shape early development in a safe, loving environment. This role emphasizes compassionate daily care, meaningful infant activities, and clear parent communication.

You will work with a team to maintain logs, support developmental milestones, and ensure health and safety standards are met, while adhering to licensing regulations and center policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
• Prior experience with infants in licensed childcare or early learning setting preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate daily care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom setting.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding schedules, diaper changes, nap times, and developmental observations.
• Communicate openly and consistently with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and center staff to create a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies related to infant care.
