Job summary

The Growing Years of Clayton is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Infant classroom. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Prior childcare experience is a plus, and the role runs Monday through Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm with compensation of $15-$18/hr based on education and experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Substitute for any position as needed, covering breaks and absences.
• Demonstrate patience and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff.
• Work as a team and assist the lead teacher as required.
• Maintain safety and engagement while assisting in infant activities.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and navigate physical demands of the classroom.
