Job summary

Scribbles Center for Learning in Bloomington, IL is seeking full-time Assistant and Floater Teachers to support our Infant Classroom. A high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background checks are required; 6 ECE hours preferred and prior childcare experience is desirable.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, full-time, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:30pm. Compensation ranges from $17.25 to $19.00 per hour, based on education and experience. Location: 1415 Woodbine Rd., Bloomington.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to pass background checks.
• 6 ECE hours preferred; prior licensed childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all classroom aspects.
• Implement activities supporting age-appropriate development.
• Accept feedback and improve quality of program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for children.
• Establish professional rapport with families for quality care.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs; perform physical tasks as needed.
