Job summary

Thrive Preschool in Englewood, CO seeks an enthusiastic Infant Assistant Teacher to join our play-based learning environment. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, with a wage range of $20.86–$23.36 per hour plus benefits.

As part of Thrive, you’ll support lead teachers, participate in ongoing professional development, and help create a nurturing space that respects each child's growth and curiosity.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and passion for working with young children, families, and co-teachers
• Intentional and reflective in professional practices
• A desire to learn and grow on the job
• Meets or exceeds minimum qualifications for employment as an Early Childhood Assistant/Aide Teacher in Colorado

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in developing and implementing inquiry-based curriculum
• Cultivate a learning environment that supports developmental needs
• Enforce classroom rules and safety procedures
• Conduct ongoing observation and documentation of children’s learning
• Support families as partners in their child’s learning
• Plan for equipment and supply needs with lead teachers
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as provided
