Job summary

Thrive Preschool in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a full-time lead teacher to join our play-based learning team. This salaried position runs Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, with a pay range of $47,910 to $52,701 per year and benefits.

You'll work with the program director and staff to implement inquiry-based curriculum, support families, and help children grow across cognitive, social, and emotional domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and Colorado lead teacher qualifications
• Experience as a lead teacher at a large childcare center in Colorado
• Colorado state requirements for lead teacher employment

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of inquiry-based curriculum and projects
• Cultivate a learning environment supporting diverse needs
• Plan activities for children with special needs with expert guidance
• Establish and enforce classroom rules for safety and order
• Conduct ongoing observation, assessment, and developmental screenings
