Job summary

Thrive Plum Hill in Denver, Colorado is seeking a full-time lead teacher (Mon-Fri, 8 hours/day) for a salaried position paying from $47,910 to $52,701 per year, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds minimum qualifications for employment as an Early Childhood Lead Teacher in Colorado with background check.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, elementary education, special education, family and child development, or child psychology.
• Experience as a lead teacher at a large childcare center in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of inquiry-based curriculum aligned with our educational philosophy.
• Cultivate a learning environment that supports intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and character development.
• Plan activities for children with special needs with training and support from specialists; implement individualized plans.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and safety procedures.
• Conduct ongoing observation, assessment, and developmental screenings of students.
• Support families as partners in their child’s learning with regular communication and involvement.
