The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards in New York, NY is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to support infants with daily routines and responsive care in a warm, developmental setting. You will collaborate with Lead Teachers and center leadership, participate in feeding, diapering, and early learning activities, and help infants reach key milestones while meeting NYC childcare requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with infants preferred.
• Professional daycare or early childhood experience is a plus.
• Patient, nurturing, reliable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines in an Infant classroom
• Assist with feeding, diapering, sleep, and individualized care routines
• Engage infants through sensory play, movement, music, and language
• Support early developmental milestones
• Provide attentive supervision and responsive care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with Lead Teachers and center leadership
• Follow applicable New York City childcare requirements
