GBTI Solutions Inc. seeks an Industry Engagement Specialist to lead outreach with aviation stakeholders and shape the future of DOD commercial airlift through 2035. Role Overview: The Industry Engagement Specialist leads outreach and consultation with commercial aviation stakeholders (e.g., IATA, ICAO, DOT, FAA, industry partners) to gather insights and shape the future operating environment for DOD commercial airlift through 2035.
Responsibilities:
Engage with at least six commercial airlift partners quarterly to assess fleet health and program viability.
Participate in industry events and consult with aviation leaders on trends (e.g., AI, pilotless vehicles.
Collaborate with IATA, ICAO, DOT, and FAA to share and gather information on initiatives impacting commercial aviation.
Produce air carrier engagement reports, commercial industry health assessments, and future developments reports with 90% compliance for quarterly updates.
Support staff briefings on industry developments.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in commercial aviation or industry outreach, with at least 2 years engaging with aviation organizations or stakeholders.
Security Clearance: Active or interim SECRET clearance (Tier 3 Security Investigation).
Deep knowledge of commercial aviation business operations and industry networks.
Strong networking and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Ability to translate industry trends into actionable DOD recommendations.
Availability: Available during normal government hours (7:30 AM–4:00 PM CST, Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays, with significant flexibility for travel and event participation.
