Job summary

Colby College invites applications for an Associate Director to lead industry and community partnerships within the highly-visible DavisConnects team. You will steward employer relationships, coordinate student opportunities, and partner with labs and institutes to expand experiential learning.

Responsibilities include managing events, driving student/job postings, and optimizing data systems used by DavisConnects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, HR, marketing, higher education, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience cultivating partnerships with diverse constituencies.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, communications or career services preferred; 5+ years.
• Ability to articulate liberal arts value to employers and partners.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; independent work and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Own and steward relationships with employers and community partners; educate students and internal stakeholders about opportunities and resume/interview guidance.
• Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus events; manage end-to-end event execution and marketing campaigns.
• Oversee data systems and technology for job/internship and event postings; support content development and coordination with campus teams.
