Job summary

Citi is seeking an Investment Banking Senior Analyst in Chicago to support the Industrials sector on capital raising, M&A, and strategic financial transactions. You will work with senior bankers on complex mandates, building financial models and client-ready materials from pitch to execution.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in IB or advisory, solid modeling and communication skills, and a bachelor's degree. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of investment banking or advisory experience.
• Ability to build complex financial models and perform valuation analyses.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication for client materials.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and support capital markets and advisory transactions in the Industrials sector.
• Develop client proposals, strategic plans, and transaction materials.
• Build and maintain DCF, comps, and precedent transaction analyses.
• Prepare written recommendations and valuation exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Conduct research to evaluate company performance against industry trends.
• Collaborate with senior bankers on client transactions as part of the deal team.
