Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate in the Investment Banking Division based in New York. You will work on advising on mergers, capital raises, and public offerings, contributing to client relationships and high-stakes transactions.

You will develop financial models, value analyses, and presentations while coordinating with tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers to structure and close deals across Metals & Mining, Chemicals, Power & Utilities, and Infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience.
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to juggle changing priorities and a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen client relationships and contribute to advisory teams.
• Create and analyze financial models and organize client presentations.
• Assist in structuring transactions and coordinating due diligence and legal documentation.
• Support M&A, fixed income and equity issuances, and coordination of cross-functional teams.
