Job summary

Safran Aerosystems' Wall Township, New Jersey facility hosts the North American headquarters of the Evacuation Systems Business Unit. Here, you will help design, manufacture, maintain, and support life-saving aircraft evacuation systems, including emergency slides, life rafts, and flotation devices.

As part of Safran's global Aerosafety Division, you'll contribute to technologies that protect millions of passengers and crew members every year.

Responsibilities

• Lead vertical integration efforts and drive new automation initiatives within the group.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Program Managers and Production to ensure manufacturability.
• Develop industrialization schedules to meet Safran “One Develop” process, Customer rate readiness, and Safety requirements.
• Lead PFMEA and process capability studies for new programs.
• Support tooling and process design for quality improvements.
• Present at Program Reviews and equipment Capacity Analysis.
• Ensure APQP and PPAP deliverables are collected and maintained.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policy and procedure requirements during major industrial changes.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
