Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced Process Industrialization professional to help move new products and processes from development to production, aligning with production teams and safety standards. You will execute handoffs for new product introductions, support post-deployment problem solving, and drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years in production process and equipment, with PMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor3s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
• Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Executes hand offs for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, new process introductions, and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, fixturing, programming, quality plan, and run-off of initial production sets
• Execute hands on development of new products and processes enabling a successful handf to the production team
• Supports project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and problem solving
• Support problem solving post deployment
• Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste
• Engineering, standardizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes
• Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness
• Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development
• Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with wider team on breakthrough initiative
