Formación

• Minimum 3 years of documented rigging experience in industrial, shipyard, construction or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Able to identify appropriate below-the-hook lifting devices and compute sling capacities.
• Must follow OSHA, NAVSEA, and Bath Iron Works rigging safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Select and assemble rigging gear.
• Determine load capacities of gear.
• Attach/detach loads to lifting gear.
• Direct crane operators with hand signals or radio.
• Perform hand rigging, complex lifts, engineered lifts and inspect rigging gear.
• Comply with Work Instructions and Safety Procedures.
