Job summary

Worley is seeking a skilled welder/industrial construction technician to lay out, align and weld fabrications, tanks and pressure vessels at our Baytown, TX site. The role involves assembling components according to blueprints and metallurgy, including boilers, exchangers, and structural frames.

The position requires at least 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance, proficiency with arc and gas welding, and the ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and make repairs to pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums
• Set up equipment and weld either pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Product quality work with reasonable efficiency
• Perform simple piping installations and repairs
• Assist other mechanics
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
