Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking an Industrial Welder to support the buildout of high-performance data centers. You will fit and weld large piping and structural steel to ASME Section IX, collaborating with mechanical, structural, electrical, and operations teams through construction turnover.

This full-time, onsite role requires travel to SpaceXSI data center sites and strict adherence to safety procedures. You will read drawings, prepare joints, and maintain weld quality while following LOTO and hot-work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of journey-level welding in industrial construction with large piping or structural steel.
• ASME Section IX qualification in GTAW on stainless or SMAW on carbon is preferred.
• Experience on data center, industrial, or heavy-civil construction sites is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fit, tack, and weld large-bore piping and structural steel per drawings and WPS.
• Lay out, cut, bevel, grind, and align joints; ensure proper fit-up and root reinforcement.
• Read isometric, spool, and structural drawings and track weld maps and heat numbers.
• Support hanging of strut, supports, and structural members; assist with bolt-up and turnover.
• Maintain organized laydown yards, tools, and material flow; ensure safety and site rules.
