SpaceXSI is seeking an Industrial Welder to support the buildout of our AI data centers. You will weld large-bore piping and structural steel to ASME IX, laying out, cutting, beveling, and aligning joints, and ensuring quality before turnover.

Travel to SpaceXSI data center sites is required. This is a full-time, onsite role with safety-first processes and coordination with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding large industrial piping and/or structural steel.
• Completion of a recognized welding apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel extensively to SpaceXSI data center sites.
• Ability to read isometric, spool, and structural drawings.

Responsabilités

• Fit, tack, and weld large-bore piping and structural steel per drawings and WPS.
• Lay out, bevel, cut, grind, and align joints; verify fit-up and reinforcement.
• Read isometric, spool, and structural drawings; follow welding maps and specs.
• Support hanging of supports and structural members; assist with bolt-up.
• Stage and inventory pipe, fittings, and tools; keep laydown areas orderly.
• Open/close work areas with fire watch, permits, and safe shutdowns.
• Follow LOTO, PPE, hot-work, and site rules; avoid welding on live systems.
• Report damaged material, unsafe conditions, and drawing conflicts.
• Support punch-list, repair, and NDE hold-point work through turnover.
