Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; up to 2 years of welding experience.
• Read and interpret shop orders, blueprints, safety rules and instructions.
• Ability to read weld symbols and document work timely.
• Use hand tools safely and read a tape measure accurately.
• Operate forklift, overhead crane, or pallet jack if required by department.

Responsibilities

• Use standard work instructions and blueprints when available.
• Visually inspect weld quality.
• Fabricates and assembles metal structures.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions.
• Perform efficient welding of metal objects with gas torch and welder.
• Rework and repair welded parts as per engineering changes.
• Complete run out checks.
• Fit wheels and fans with supervision.
• Maintain weld machines via preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
• Adhere to Twin City Fan core values.
• Other duties as assigned.
