Qualifications

• Formal weld-ing trade program or apprenticeship training completed.
• Experience with welding using manual trigger control.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand detailed work orders and blueprints.
• Move core in/out of welding booth and position on turntable.
• Match tanks to sides of core per blueprint.
• Tack corners and adjust with a hammer for proper fit.
• Operate welding equipment to control current/voltage for welding.
• Weld additional components as blueprint requires.
• Weld all sides and complete wash-down on corners.
• Document and stamp the cooler after welding.
• Meet production quotas set by Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report issues to Supervisor promptly.
• Follow AKG EMS policies and procedures.
