The Welder will perform diverse welding tasks, read blueprints, conduct TIG welds, and maintain and calibrate welding equipment while pursuing Dakota welder certification training.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in welding and 6+ years of like experience in manufacturing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for welding.
• Perform TIG welds (hand) and structural welding.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs electric arc, inert gas and heliarc welding in various positions on structural components.
• Interpret blueprints or diagrams to determine welding requirements.
• Perform complex TIG welds and structural welds.
• Maintain equipment, set up power supplies and welding parameters.
• Weld components for piping systems, tubes and structures.
